How to wash the filter
Turn power off and unplug the machine.
Step 1 - Removing the filter
- With the bin removed, pull the filter out from the top of the cyclone.
Step 2 - Filter washing
- Run cold water through the open end of the filter for approximately 10 seconds (Please do not use detergent, do not wash in a dishwasher or washing machine).
- Turn the filter up side down and tap 10 times.
- Squeeze and twist the filter.
- Repeat until clean.
Step 3 - Filter drying
- Leave the filter to dry upside down in a warm place for 24 hours or until completley dry.
Do not dry the filter in a tumble dryer, oven, microwave or near a naked flame.
Step 4 - Re-assembling the machine
- Ensure the filters are completely dry before refitting into machine.
- Re-assemble the machine as shown below and test.
