Removing blockages

Musclehead™ tool

  • With the Musclehead™ removed, check the openings on the tool for blockages and remove as necessary.

Extension tube, wand handle and hose

  • Separate the extension tube from the wand handle by pressing the release catch on the wand handle.

  • Remove the wand handle from the hose by pressing the release catch on the hose.

  • Check the extension tube, wand handle and hose for blockages and remove as necessary.

Check upper duct

  • Remove the bin and cyclone assembly.
  • Check the upper duct for blockages and remove as necessary.

Check lower duct

  • Check the lower duct as shown below for blockages and remove as necessary.

The lower duct hose can be removed to allow easier access to this area.

  • Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the two Phillips screws on the clear bin locator bracket and remove the bracket. (Do not remove any other screws.)
  • Firmly twist the top of the flexible inspection hose away from the inlet next to the ball (do not remove the end next to the connection for the main hose).
  • Remove blockages and reassemble in reverse order.
