Removing blockages
Musclehead™ tool
- With the Musclehead™ removed, check the openings on the tool for blockages and remove as necessary.
Extension tube, wand handle and hose
- Separate the extension tube from the wand handle by pressing the release catch on the wand handle.
- Remove the wand handle from the hose by pressing the release catch on the hose.
- Check the extension tube, wand handle and hose for blockages and remove as necessary.
Check upper duct
- Remove the bin and cyclone assembly.
- Check the upper duct for blockages and remove as necessary.
Check lower duct
- Check the lower duct as shown below for blockages and remove as necessary.
The lower duct hose can be removed to allow easier access to this area.
- Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the two Phillips screws on the clear bin locator bracket and remove the bracket. (Do not remove any other screws.)
- Firmly twist the top of the flexible inspection hose away from the inlet next to the ball (do not remove the end next to the connection for the main hose).
- Remove blockages and reassemble in reverse order.
