Washing the brushbars

  • Turn the cleaner head upside down so the underside of the cleaner head is facing you.
  • Rotate the end cap to the open position.
  • WARNING: Beware of sharp objects when checking for blockages.

  • Rotate the end cap to unlock and remove.

  • Gently slide the large brushbar away from the cleaner head and remove the end cap from the brushbar.

  • Lift the smaller brushbar up to remove.

  • Wash both the large and small brushbar until the water runs clear.

  • Stand both brushbars upright, leave to dry completely for a minimum of 24 hours.

  • Re-fit the small brushbar first by inserting the round end of the small brushbar into place. Push down the octagonal end until it clicks into place.

  • Re-attach the end cap to the large brushbar.

  • Slide the large brushbar back onto the cleaner head around the motor. Once in place rotate the end cap back into the closed position.
  • Close the fastener by turning a quarter turn clockwise. Ensure that the fastener is fully turned and that both the base plate and brushbar is secure.
