Charging the battery

The machine can be charged on the dock or by plugging the charger directly to the machine as shown below.

The light on the charger will show when the machine is being charged and will go out when fully charged.

Option 1

A solid blue light indicates that the battery is charging.
Flashing blue indicates that the battery is not charging. Re-fit charger or try another socket. If flashing light persists please call the Dyson Helpline.
No light indicates the battery is fully charged.
A solid amber light indicates that the battery is not charging due to a temporary fault (e.g. too hot/cold).
A flashing red light indicates that there is a fault, please call the Dyson Helpline.

Option 2

Attaching to docking station. Removing from docking station.

 

  • Plug the charger into a wall socket.
  • The battery should be fully charged after 3.5 hours

A solid blue light indicates that the battery is charging.

No light indicates the battery is fully charged.
