The science behind removing allergens from the home
The Dyson microbiology lab was set up in 2001, and contains the kind of equipment more commonly associated with hospital laboratories. Dyson scientists use the lab to research ways of eliminating allergens to make the home cleaner and safer for allergy sufferers. To do this they cultivate and study household allergens. They even have a dust mite farm, and the allergenic mite faeces are used for cyclone and performance testing.
